It has been a couple of really intense and busy (but also wonderful) weeks. That’s why I haven’t created too much of my own content in the last two blogs. I have learned to not push myself beyond my own boundaries anymore, but to listen to my body and take a break when my body tells me to stop and rest. So that’s what I am doing….

So I thought that today I’d like to inspire you with what inspired me on my journey. Many years ago, I was living in Vancouver studying acting, I came across this wonderful book called “A Return to Love” by a woman named Marianne Williamson. In the opening pages was a poem that deeply touched my heart even when I first read it, but it took me many years to fully understand and deeply integrate what it really meant.

So here it is. May it inspire you as much as it inspired me!!

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” (Marianne Williamson)
